March Madness 2024

I was fortunate to cover Wagner's run to the NCAA Tournament in March. The Seahawks became the first team ever to win three straight road games en route to an NEC title and won the school's first-ever game in the NCAA Tournament. Below you can find a collection of my favorite projects surrounding the tournament and the incredible story. This page shows a mix of content such as videos and photos along with media appearances by coaches and players, as Wagner's story was picked up by all major New York TV, radio, and print outlets while also garnering significant national attention.

First Four: Wagner vs Howard

Our strategy shifted for the First Four - we hired a photographer and brought multiple members of our office to allow me to focus on handling all interview and PR requests, facilitating press availabilities, and film during the game.

Prior to the game against Howard, our trailer series featured a voiceover by Walt Hameline to get our fans and alumni excited for the game.

Selection Sunday

Selection Sunday featured a studio appearance on NBC4 New York and a cinematic recap of the event. On Sunday and the days leading up to the event, multiple graphics and animations provided more context about our team and our run while putting the large amount of media appearances into context for our fans.

NEC Championship: Wagner at Merrimack

Wagner won its second-ever NEC title against Merrimack. By publicizing our story prior to the game, we received national attention following the game. We once again deviated from our regular game strategy by having two members from our office at the game, allowing me to focus on filming and managing media requests.
